Hey, if you're in your first two years of real estate, this message is really specifically designed for you. Hey, my name is Chance Brown. I'm the broker owner of CB&A Realtors and I make video content for agents because I'm passionate about helping them build their business. What is that first two years? You spend all this money to go get your classes and take your test and all that. You've joined a brokerage. You're super excited. We talk lead genen, lead genen, lead genen because hey, you want to make money and that's perfectly fine. I think though if we take a step back and we look at what we're doing in these first two years, we can see it through a very specific lens. You're rebranding yourself. And that may sound simple on the surface, but it's not. And it's not because human brains are kind of dumb. And when we meet somebody for the first time, we tend to just categorize them and put them in a drawer like, "Hey, I know this person from X." And that's it. It is really, really difficult for our brains to go back in, open that door, pull that person out, and recategorize them in another door. That's tough. It's not normal. And so, if we look at our first two years as a rebranding effort, we start to take more deliberate actions to open that drawer, get it over here to this drawer. That's the key. And so, I think that looks like a number of things. First and foremost, and always the most important is actually talking to humans. Whether you're talking on the phone, whether you're talking on in person, it's having those meaningful touches with your clients that advance your brand. The other part of that is the passive CRM communications, email, newsletters, social media, and the key is this. It has to be consistent. I'm sitting over here. I've got a Coke sitting off to the side. It's the most recognizable brand in the world. you see a red can with a white stripe on it and you know what that is no matter where you are. They're still going to buy a Super Bowl ad at Christmas time, you're still going to see those polar bears.
And it's that consistent brand reinforcement that even for the most recognized brand in the world, they continue to do year in year out because they know that that's what brings business in. If you will shift your mindset from, hey, I'm building a business to, hey, I'm rebranding myself in order to build my business, I think you're going to see far greater results if you take the activities that help you rebrand and are consistent with them. So, as you go into your first first two years, not trying to take anything away from you going out there and earning money because that's the most important part. We want to always lead with revenue, but if we just do it through a framework of this is a two-year rebranding project to get people's brains to think differently from what I used to do to what I do now, which is be your trusted real estate resource. It's a game-changing framework. Hey, if this was valuable to you, I would be honored if you would subscribe, follow, like, share with one of your friends.
