This site is run by Chance Brown. Here's plainly what it collects and why.

What I collect

  • If you subscribe: your email address, your first name if you give it, which kinds of content you want (videos, podcast, writing), and whether you told me you're a licensed agent. This is stored with my email provider, Kit, and used only to send you what you signed up for. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
  • If you use the contact form: your name, email, and whatever you choose to tell me (phone, organization, event details, your message). It's delivered to my inbox by Resend so I can reply.
  • Basic, anonymous usage stats (pages viewed, rough location, device type) from my host, Vercel, to see what's useful. No advertising trackers.

I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone except the services above that make the site work.

Things stored in your own browser

The site remembers a few conveniences on your device only — your light/dark reading preference and where you left off in a podcast episode. Nothing there is sent to me.

Embedded content

  • Videos are served by YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and don't load until you press play. Once you do, Google's privacy policy applies.
  • Podcast audio streams from Buzzsprout.

Some book links go to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon may set its own cookies when you click through.

Your choices

Want me to delete what I have, or see it? Email chance@cbarealtors.com and I'll take care of it.

I respect other people's creative work. I try to use only images and media I own, have licensed, or am allowed to use. If you believe something on this site uses your copyrighted work without permission, email chance@cbarealtors.com with:

  • a link to the page and a description of the material in question
  • a description of, or link to, your original work
  • your name and a way to reach you
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized, and that the information you've provided is accurate and that you own (or are authorized to act for the owner of) the copyright

I'll review every request promptly and, where it's warranted, remove or replace the material. If you think something I removed was taken down by mistake, send the same details and I'll take another look.

Everything else here, including the writing, videos, and podcast, is © Chance Brown unless noted otherwise. You're welcome to quote or share it with a link back.
