Not that you haven't already heard enough of it, but let's talk about AI, shall we? Hey, my name is Chance Brown. I'm the broker owner of CB&A Realtors, and I make video content like this because I'm passionate about helping Realtors build great businesses. I know every time you turn around, it's AI this, AI that. I think this is like the fifth video I've recorded talking about AI, but something's been happening in our brokerage recently that I kind of want to talk about in relation to how to really use AI in your business. I don't want to sit here and bash AI. Everybody's all over it. It's great. And it is great, but I kind of have I don't want to call it a lovehate. I kind of have it like a love flashing red light relationship because on one hand, there's this incredible amount of power to build amazing tools to help you in your business. On the other hand, there's this over reliance on AI to tell us what to do or to create things for us. To me, that last part is super super dangerous. I think that we are just allowing too much input from ChatGPT or whatever it is that you're asking to write things and do things for you that is starting to suck some of the humanity out of that. and it's real recognizable.
Like you can read something on social media, you can read something in a blog post or on the MLS, whatever, and know that it was written by AI. That will undoubtedly evolve over time. This video likely will not age well. But I just want to implore to you like put yourself in the shoes of the client who's wanting to buy or sell real estate. They have made a very important huge life decision here. They are hiring you to be the expert in that. They are not hiring ChachiPT. If you want Chachi PT to become the expert in that, keep using it that way and then they'll stop hiring you. So be very very careful with that please. On the flip side, and I mean completely on the flip side, man, AI is so cool at building tools to help you be effective and efficient in your business. But I think that agents, like they do with many other things, are overthinking the [ __ ] out of this. If you can save yourself 10 minutes on something that you do consistently, you can give yourself back days over the course of a year if you have an automated tool that can help you do it.
Tell me something else in your business that you can do that's going to literally give you three business days of work back and won't take you probably an hour to build the tool. That's how I would love for agents to really be using their AI powers is in building bespoke software for their business. Things that are actually going to help them achieve their goals and stop using it in places where they don't need to use it. Don't take the humanity out of the process by automating so many things that it that it pulls you and your voice. People are hiring you. They're not hiring ChatGPT. If I can help you build any of these tools or talk to you about what we're doing here, I would love to have that conversation. Just reach out. Hey, if this was valuable to you, I would be honored if you would subscribe, follow, like, share with one of your friends.
